Valentine's Day Reminder

Just a reminder that tomorrow, February 12th, we will be celebrating Valentine's Day in the classroom. If you would like, you can send cards to school with your child to give to classmates.

Please remember:
- bringing cards is optional
- if you wish to send cards, there must be 1 for every child in the class 
            AM has 24 students
            PM has 20 students
- if bringing cards, your child must only write their name on the cards (not the names of classmates)
- please do not send any treats to school

In the classroom, we have also been talking about the colours we see around Valentine's Day. If you wish, your child can wear Valentine's Day colours to school tomorrow, such as pink, red, or purple.

*Please note* If your child's home reading day is usually Thursday, you can send it to school on Wednesday, February 12, so that you have new books over the long weekend!
